MEET THE TEAM

Dwone Marshall-Brown, APRN, FNP-C

Nurse Practitioner, VitalPath Health

I began my nursing career after earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1998, followed by a Master of Science in Nursing Education in 2006 and a post master’s certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2011, all from Southern University Agricultural & Mechanical College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. My experience spans small community clinics to large hospitals, and I have practiced in both Louisiana and Texas. I have provided care in primary care, urgent care, community clinics, rural home based health, and telehealth settings.

I am especially dedicated to serving underserved families, older adults, and individuals managing chronic conditions and mental health challenges. Patient advocacy is deeply important to me, and I believe every patient deserves to feel heard, respected, and supported. I also place a strong emphasis on education, helping patients understand their diagnoses and make informed decisions about their health.

Above all, I strive to be compassionate and to truly listen to the needs of each patient. My goal is to improve lives by supporting individuals on their journey toward their best possible health and well being.
